How does SubVexa Shield work?

Updated 12 May 2026 · 3 min readTrust article

SubVexa Shield is the protection layer that sits on top of every order. It does five things, automatically.

1. Holds your money in escrow

When you pay, the funds move into a SubVexa-managed escrow account. The seller doesn't have access to them until you confirm receipt (or auto-confirm fires).

2. Logs every action

Each step — payment, delivery, reveal, message, confirmation — is recorded in an immutable, hash-chained activity log. You can view it on your order page anytime.

3. Gives you a 10-day report window

Even after the order is marked Completed, you have 10 full days to report a problem. The seller's reserve covers refunds during this window.

4. Provides 24-hour mediation

If you and the seller can't resolve an issue directly, a human mediator joins within 4 hours and decides within 24.

5. Verifies every seller

Sellers must complete KYC (ID + selfie), enable 2FA, and hold a payout reserve. High-risk sellers carry higher reserves.
